About

Hello, my name is Jennifer. I started book blogging in 2011 but have always loved reading and books. Since I was a child until now, I have always been the one reading where ever we were!

Welcome to BookWormCastle- where the love for reading comes alive! The blog has a Castle theme with different rooms of the castle being different categories for readers to delve into and explore! Have fun wandering around the Castle and getting lost where ever you may fancy!

I have always loved to read and write and I am currently teaching English as a foreign language in Taiwan. I enjoyed my time teaching in Korea last year and am excited for what this next season will bring.

Some of my favorite authors (its always hard to choose just one!) are: Stephen King, Michael Grant, Ted Dekker, The Brontë sisters (and many, many more!) Some of my favorite books: The Mysteries of Udolpho, (which, as of this post, you can get a free Kindle copy here on Amazon! Get it here-The Mysteries of Udolpho) The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon,  The Giver, Let the Right One In: A Novel and too many more to name! (Though I may do a favorites post at some point…?)

This will be a blog where readers and writers can all find all that they love and interact with each other. As I am editing my new Writer’s Castle, (as well as several other rooms of the Castle!) please check it out and let me know what you would like to see there! I love both reading and writing and so I decided to combine the two instead of separating them, as they do fit together quite nicely!

For review requests, please see Reviews for details on how to get your book reviewed. Thank you!

    Lady Jennifer

    Greetings!

I admire anyone learning new languages – I’m still working on English, and apparently I was born speaking it. I seem to have become fluent in gibberish and nonsense first :-).

    • Hello Graeme!

I have not gotten that far yet in my learning lol, but hopefully I will be able to get into a class soon. And yes, it is so much easier to become fluent in gibberish and made up languages, so I can relate to that LOL 🙂

You may have noticed my new Writer’s Castle part of the blog, hope you enjoy and I welcome your suggestions!

  6. Hi Jennifer,

I like your site. I recently posted on your about page about a possible book review. (Sorry, not the best place to post it, which I realize after the fact . . .)

The book is entitled ‘Denibus Ar’ and is an archaeological thriller set in Egypt.

My contact info is on my blog: http://innerskybooks.blogspot.com/ . Just a note, I’m not putting the email here to avoid spam from web spiders.

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi Jennifer,

I got your comment on my blog. I’d love it if you want to review my books. I currently only have them on Kindle or PDF. But if you give me your email address, I can loan you a Kindle copy of the book. The loan is only good for 14 days, (Amazon’s rules, not mine), so just let me know when you’d like to read one or both of them.

Oooh, I love British gothic novels too….I took a whole lit course on the subject during my first degree and it was one of my absolute favourites. Have you ever read Mervyn Peake’s Gormenghast books? Amazing gothic mood with some scenes that would make Steven King proud!
